Anyway on to the song, it's good man, nice, i like it, the melody is awesome, bass is kickin, i've got no problem with the snares.

I think you maybe started with the choir too soon at 1.41, i think you could let the break last a bit longer and than slowly building up, but that's more of a personal choice than a flaw. It's just a feeling i get.

Anyway i'll see you around, yeah ?, have a good one.

this is indeed good stuff

I can't believe you only got 124 listenes and 1 review for this man, i've only checked out two of your songs so far, this and RANDOMWIP, but even if you only had these two songs here, this is definetely some of the best quality trance you can hear on this portal.

On to the track i guess, i like it, filtered claps in the beginning right ?, nice use of reverb to build up, the bass doesn't bother me, it adds a little housy feel to it but it doesn't sound bad, the melody is really basic and gets monotonous, but since this is work in progress and only a portion of the track, I can't blame you that. You like to use those sidechained saws don't you ?

Anyway the thing that really got me with your music is the quality of sounds used, is this made in FL or ableton, cuz the sound quality really takes a step up from what you usually hear here.

Anyway im fiving this, and faving you.

I use FL, and I know it may be hard to take in, but it's possible to make actual non-fruity tracks with FL Studio (lol).

good work man

This type of music isn't really my thing, but i like this, reminds me of Mono a lot. Sounds really professional all in all, well put together, the instruments flow seamlesly into one another, nice effects, vocals fit in, pretty good depth on this one.

I really can't deny the effort and work you put into this song, it's really good, your style of music is pretty rare here on NG, it was refreshing to hear this while randomly listening to new submisions.

Thank you very much, that's quite the compliment! I worked all day yesterday on this song and am going to be making another one today if I can get enough time in. I used an old m-box that my father gave to me, my Squire Jagmaster for guitar, and Logic 8 for recording, producing, and drums. I didn't take my mic with me so i used my built-in comp mic. I greatly appreciate your review :P and I am very glad you liked it.

Damn man, i was randomly reading through my reviews (bored i guess), saw my review of your Komodo rmx, and I was like "I wonder what this guy's been up to lately", im glad i checked it out man.

This just chilled me out the moment it started man, just threw me into this chillaxed state, i feel that guy below burning that CD, it's hard to describe lol.

Anyway thanks for making this haha, this track really made my night, Im faving you now, 5/5, 10/10, downloading the track.

Yeah, i know how it is, but what can you do, you know, there are mostly 13 year old boys on this site that just vote zero without even listening and the world is their oyster ;)

Anyway, on to the track, ... I didn't review any of your songs for a long time I know (im a bastard), but i've been folowing, listening, voting. You're definetely improving with time, getting the feeling for it, adding more depth to your tracks, you know that's what counts, experience and learning stuff.

This is a pretty good random song, yeah it's random, that piano doesn't really fit in on occasion and it gets really repetitive over time since it's a simple melody that doesn't change and you play it from beggining to end, but it builds nicely, good instruments. I LOVE that sound that you fade in from 0.48 till 0.54, that was really sweet.

Anyway this loop is all about the melodies, since there is hardly any percussion except the kicks, so i'd make a longer main melody, or change it over time.

Other than that, you're good.
And don't give up on music man, keep making it, improving, don't worry about zero voters and lack of attention, you just do your thing and grow :D.

Hey man,

well i'll just get to the review,
it's not bad, especially for your first hardstyle track,
the main melody's cool, piano part's awesome, kicks ain't bad, though i get a feeling like there's some power missing there.

On to the thing that bothered me, the breaks with the kicks were just too basic, like four fast kicks together, and you always did that, you barely changed that, yeah you added a kick or took one away here and there, but that isn't it, it ends up kinnda boring and predictable, some variation is alwas good.

and i think that if you played with the volume or filters a little, it would give your buildups more power, like if you slowly faded in those claps or other istruments, but that's just me, my personal taste. It's no biggie.

anyway it's not bad overall, especially for your first hardstyle track,

I'll give you a 5, this song deserves more than that 3.29 score it has at the moment.

And I'll see you around offcourse,
don't be afraid to tell me when you make something new. :D

I'll deffinately try to improve onto some variation next time and more power. Also more filters and volume envlopes, so it doesn't gets predictible next time. ;) Thanks for the score, this track needs it. 5/5 definetely as it is.

I dunno man, it all kinnda sounded fresh to me for some reason, I know the fast bpm and the melody ain't gonna start a revolution, but I haven't heard something like this in a while, it's not some ordinairy generic trance or something.

You know for a moment I was like "damn this sounds like something I'd do" (im awesome), i was just.. impressed man. First thing that got me was the nicely done, and i mean really nice transitions.

Then was the melody, i havan't heard a melody of this type in a while, you know with a kind of switch back in the ending, so that came as refreshing at the moment. I like how you came in HARD with the melody after 1.40, I always like that kind of stuff.

Though after you bring that melody in, after let's say 1.50, there seem to be some unbalancing, maybe a little EQ work could fix that, seems to me like the melody is escaping a bit too far into the higher pitches, a little limiter there would probably do the trick.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this track man, and i don't just mean it was "good" or "nicely done" i mean i really enjoyed it and had a good time listening to it, downloaded it offcourse.

Yeah this is slightly more diffrent than other styles so far, that's why I wanted to experiment on this track with the transitions and the fast beat per minute.

I'd love to see you doing something like this. :D (we know you're awesome :P)
Thanks, but these transitions are quite easy to make, altough you gotta know how to make them. ;P

Lol took me about 20min to make that melo incl pads/bass/etc, it's kind of fresh yeah energetic and still 'new' at the same time. I am glad you like this experimental style of mine! :)

Yeah at 1:50 I know what you mean, I thought maybe a second lead would be nice only it was too loud so I shortened it and cut it off. It's barely noticeable that it's there, but you can hear the diffrence. I'll change it or EQ it away as you say so. (I still gotta mix and master this one.) ;)

I am really glad you liked it, it makes me happy and motivates me to go on.

Yo, damn this is very good, almost professional quality. Only needs a few minor touches, but everybody before me said about all, well Gravey said about all :D, the others just kinnda nodded :D.

I'll just point out a really small detail i noticed at 0.12 you know that sound you add like a drop of water hitting iron or something, anyway in my humble opinion, you use that too much in that intro part, it should be used as a spice, more with a feeling, too add a little something for the listener, but you use it a little too much, almost as a percussion element.

Well that's about the only thing that stood out and distracted me, but that's just my opinion, im a crazy mothafu**a anyway ;D. I like the original it's a legend, and I like your remix too, well done overall. This definetely deserves my 5.

PS: white water is white water, while whitewater are rapids, so it sorta translates to rapid currents, though im not sure if you can use the plural "currents" with it, maybe the correct use would be" whitewater current", im not 100% sure about that one :D.

Anyway fu** english anyway :D, we're from mainland Europe :D

congratulations on a job well done mate

Well this is trance, dutchboy, I agree that it's kinnda generic, but since it's good generic trance, that doesn't really matter. God knows you can never have enough of good trance.

You made me smile a few times during this song, the first time i smiled was at 0.13, when you used that reversed cymball, followed by that nicely filtered clap, that was something I would do, so that was nice to hear.

The other time you made me smile was at 2.17 when you put in that obligatory breakbeat intermission.

Ok time for some critiscism here, the first thing i noticed is that the bass synth in the beggining is maybe a little too plucked, i think a smoother bass synth would fit better. Also at 1.43 when those build up snares hit in, maybe some more variation there would help, though it's not a big deal, it's good.

Can't say anything else bad about it, and even the above things aren't bad, i just think you could make it even better.

Anyway the track is really good, all in all, everything you made here is excellent, i love how you keep the pads almost through the entire track. Good progression, good mixing, great track.

Well, that's about it, good work, that's nice trance right there.
5/5 10/10, see you later, im gonna download this one, ah what the hell, im just gonna fave you from now on.

First of all I'd like to thank you for this really big and well devined review!
I loved to read this, and apreciate your good facts, but in this comment I'll go in the facts you disliked. As for example the synth bass, I'll change it probably soon. And for the snare build, I indeed could use some variation like effects, or crashes. I think I made this track too fast. :P I'll upgrade and fix this song later.
