Percussion is where you reign man

I notice this in a lot of your tracks, you have a great feel and timing for percussion elements, and when you experiment in that area there's always a great result.

The synths and melodic elements are pretty basic and average tho in my opinion, and your transitions could use some more thought, since you tend to just bring stuff in, full swing, no nice passages.

actually i think that transitions are my worst area...if possible could u think of a good example that i could listen to? just find a song with good transitions and leave the title and the artist in my inbox here on ng, i should be able to find anything.

but as far as the other elements being basic and average i tried not to be all super crazy with this one on purpose, some fam wanted to see what I could come up with in terms of RnB so i made this one especially for them.

But i'm glad u enjoyed it none the less, good review and i hope u will enjoy more of my art soon :3 Cheers!

This is some sweet stuff you got cookin, i like it.
Some good stuff you did with the transitions, shit's heavy on the reverb,
Melody is the minimal goodness, and the muddy kicks and bass are a must in such tracks.
it's good stuff man, i like it. I'll look forward to the full thing.

Yeah, this is much better, you can actually hear the different sounds now :D

You're doing pretty well, for being kinnda inexperienced and 13. Seems like you got the talent, well you know how to mix sounds to create a bigger picture. That's good, it sounds full, it's a bit too leaned over to the treble side, later on it just overpowers the bass and kick, ain't too big a flaw yet i guess.

The melody and the whole treble area is great, the mid and lower areas need a bit attention, the bassline isn't very fitting, nothing to worry, you'll get the finesse for that.

Anyway, keep on making music and playing around, that's the easiest way to learn and improve. Shouldn't take too long for you to make a great track.

wow man, just.. wow

I was really surprised with this, i honestly expected you to be a bit rusty :D after your absence, but damn this is amazing, i love it, it's hard to believe you made it lol, you've really improved.

Anyway this is really my kind of track, the production and attention to detail is really great, i like all the subtleties like those small filter jumps, the ending is a bit cut off and unexpected - a bit lazy lol :D Otherwise the track is incredible.

Good to see you back, keep up the great work.

Been experimenting and made allot of demo's I should finish. So I kept my 'chains oiled' ;P

You know i start reading and i read like "a slight demo collab between paperbat and endeavour", and im like WTF wait a minute.. PAPERBAT ?!?, is this gonna be some sort of joke,.... then i realise im an idiot and read it again.

Anyway, you're making some really good stuff, professional stuff. The sound is really good, i mean the track is a bit cheesy for my taste, but i can't say anything bad about it, it's really handled with care, the sound is soft, full and professional. Sweeps are butter, breaks good, melodies full. Good stuff !

Well, so how's it going ? lol, life and all that ?, i'd say keep up the good work but i know how it is, im pretty 50% active myself, actually it's more like 15 %.

Well, anyway (did you like that ?, did you like how i started the second paragraph with "anyway", the third with "well" and then due to my lack of imagination i bring it all to a climactic conclusion with "well, anyway").............. ......anyway.... good work both of you, have fun, take care.. and i'll see ya around or something.

not bad at all, could use more love and polish, but it's good stuff.
Melody is cool, transitions could use some more work. The song could be a little longer and more complex. But as you said you didn't want to spend that much time on this.

Anyway this is pretty cool stuff man.

Hey, really good stuff man

This is really good, im just chillin here, this playin, mind goin places, really nice man, i love the sounds you used, nice melodies, kinnda dreamy, and good FX keepin it nice and full. You mixed it great so it doesn't get repetitive.

Also in the begining how did you make it so "old-gramophone-record" sounding, did you just reverb that mellody a little out and used a gramophone sound over it or something.

Anyway im downloading this, 5/5, take 'er easy now, good stuff, later man.

This is really something, the sub just rocked my house. Nice, really hard bass, that great pulsating feeling. Somebody set up us the bomb. This is awesome stuff right here.

As far as this demo goes I can't really say anything bad about it.

Well it's a good track, nice melodies and sounds, nice intro, i think you built it up too fast tho, didn't take enough time to develop melodies and really put them in, you could put some more work into the passes.

Overall this sounds like you didn't really take enough time for it to really realise it's potential. Take more time, put more love into your tracks man ;)

Gonna go check that ambient one now.
